Touring Site
Our touring site consists of a 5 van CL in an enclosed paddock for members of the CAMH only, and in addition up to 15 further pitches in a neighbouring field, or the “MAES” as we call it, which is open to both members and non- members alike. The CL tends to be more sheltered, whilst the Maes has a more open meadow aspect.
Guests often remark on our clear starry nights, free from light pollution, the beautiful red skies in the summer and autumn evenings, and sunrises above Benllech Bay early in the mornings.
All our pitches are hard standings with chippings, fully serviced with ehu, a grey water waste drain and fresh running water. However, there is a grass pitch option on the CL. Our newer pitches on the Maes are of Super Pitch standards separated by large grassy areas, and are more accessible for the larger outfits. We offer free Wi-fi and all our pitches are the same price. There is very good TV reception and mobile phone signal on site. We welcome up to three well behaved dogs. On site, all dogs must be kept on a lead, but we have a 3-acre dog exercising field with spectacular views of the sea and Snowdonia.
We do not charge extra for dogs, awnings or additional cars can offer B&B with beautiful en suite rooms for the extended family and friends.
The site is serviced with two chemical disposable waste points and general waste bins, all within easy walking distance. We have three modern and spacious showers and washrooms with free flow temperature-controlled mixer taps, and three separate toilets. Showers are charged £1 for 8 minutes.
Close to the toilets is our laundry room with washing machine and dryer, and outside a rotary washing line! Located in the laundry room is a washing up facility with plenty of hot water, a library of books and Tourist Information leaflets, also an honesty shop selling local milk, cheese, butter, eggs, yogurts, and water, as well as Ruth’s homemade cakes, jams and marmalade.
We also offer take away breakfasts delivered to your van on some days of the week.
